| Back To School Night An evening affaire for parents and adult family members only. You will have the opportunity to: meet with your child's teacher, find out about the program and goals for this school year, enjoy visiting with other parents, and learn about report card grading and standard based education. Our Back-to-School event is an opportunity for teachers to explain their instructional program to you and for you to ask questions. Back-to School Night is not a convenient time for parent conferences. Individual questions about your child’s progress can be discussed at another time in a parent-teacher conference. Classroom Presentations 6:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. Grades K, 1, 2 7:05 p.m. – 7:50 p.m. Grades 3, 4, 5 School Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 12:29 p.m. All Kindergarten Classes will use a.m. schedule 8:00 a.m. – 11: 20 p.m. Family Science Night Family Science Night engages family from the school in the exciting world of science. Families sign up for workshops, such as “Owl Pellet Examination”, “Squid Races”, “Bored, You want to Play a Game?”, “Pop Rockets”, “Hoop Flyer”, as well as the all-time favorites, “Glitter Globes”, “Kaleidoscopes” or “Its Oobleck!” We offer several dinner choices ranging from Southern California tradition food to In N’ Out, who are generous enough to have a mobile stand on the premises.
