| Phon-a-thon/Annual Drive (Fall)- a straight donation to the school for your child Gift-Wrap Sales (Fall) - profit made from gift-wrap sales. Children earn prizes from the gift wrap company Walk-A-Thon Your Child signs up sponsors for his/her walkathon which raises money for the school Spell-A-Thon Your Child signs up sponsors for his/her spellathon which raises money for the school Spirit Clothing/Accessories Sales (All Year) - profit goes directly into the purchase of additional Roscomare Road merchandise and accessories for students and families Alumni Donations Matching Gifts Check with your employer if they have such a program. If you participated in the School Fund Drive with the suggested $700 a student, then it is likely your employer will match your donation. Newsletter Each year we generate a newsletter with space for parent sponsors as a way to advertise and make donations. If you would like to advertise in our Newsletter, please email newsletter@rrboosterclub.com for pricing and information. Box Tops Collect and submit designated "Box Tops for Education" from a variety of products such as cereals. Accumulated tops are exchanged for cash that goes to Roscomare near the end of the school year, and contests are held for the classroom with the most box tops. Each new person signing up on http://www.boxtops4education.com/index.aspx will earn Roscomare Elementary 50 cents. That may not sound like much, but if each of the 400 families sign up, that is a quick $200.00 without clipping coupons or sending them in. Remember to put in Roscomare Road school in the 90077 zip code. When they activate their registration, the school gets 50 cents. |
